Ready for Christmas

Ben said that we had a "ghetto" Christmas tree so we decided to spring for a new one. Aiden loved to help decorate the tree, again and again and again! And Ethen liked to eat the decorations.
We went and had "Breakfast with Santa" at the Festival of Trees and Aiden had a lot of fun. He was a little scared of Santa at first but he did end up sitting on his lap so he could tell him that he wanted a Bumblebee Transformer for Christmas. Now he asks everyday if it's Christmas yet.
And here is an added picture of the "Cool little Squeak."

Halloween

Halloween

Here's the Haislip's Halloween. Aiden had fun wearing his costume to school. They decorated cookies and I was amazed that his costume was still clean. We went "trunk -or-treating" and then up to the Haislips for pizza. We carved a "pukin," it even has ears and eyebrows. And Aiden and Ben had fun playing in the rain and leaves the next day.

We have a new photographer in the Haislip family. Aime took pictures of the boys in old town Pocatello. Aiden however wasn't very cooperative because things were too DIRTY! We got some really cute ones though.

Feeling better.

Both the boys had ear infections this past week. Aiden was on oral antibiotics for a week and then ended up getting a shot. Both have been much happier now that they are feeling better. Ethen is finally sitting up pretty well on his own! He still is kind of the leaning tower, but most of the time he does pretty good. Aiden was so proud of his spider hat he made at school "all by hisself" and wore it around for two days. He can't wait for halloween and has been practicing with his lightsaber.

Snow in October

Well, I was making fun of Ben for putting the ski-racks on the car on Monday, but I guess it wasn't too early. We woke up to snow on Saturday and it continued to snow on and off all day. Aiden couldn't wait to wear his snow boots, get outside, and have a snowball fight with dad. He keeps telling us that Brooklyn will come again after he wakes up and opens presents. So he was a little disappointed that Santa isn't coming soon. But he still wanted to be the first to wish everybody Merry Christmas! I bet the Romriells don't miss shoveling their parking lot!
We used to have trouble getting him to nursery on Sunday, but now he starts asking to go about half-way through Sacrament and doesn't stop until it's time to go. I guess at least he likes it though!
Ben spent all weekend in what he calls the "Portneuf County Jail." He worked 14 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday, with very little to do. This seems to be a normal thing for our hospital. Me and the boys went to the hospital a couple times a day for "visiting hours."
