2 Weeks and Counting!

It's crunch time at the house. Everything is finally starting to come together. The painting and tiling are almost finished. The sprinklers and curbing is done. Next week they will do the cabinets, fixtures and start on the granite. We are getting very excited for it all to be finished and then we can start getting the yard in. We have been going to our new ward and Aiden is finally going to sunbeams without a fight. We can't wait to move in, there are lots of kids in the neighborhood for the boys to play with. Here are a few updated pictures of the house.
Much to Ben's dislike the boys got their Blue room! (sorry the picture is sideways)

On July 4th we had dinner and fireworks at the Haislip's. The kids played in the pool and the sprinkler and then we did a few fireworks. It went from hot enough to play in the pool to a hail and rainstorm. There was a river of water running down the street like I've never seen before. Then the storm cleared up just in time for more fireworks with the kids and the fireworks show.

Within the last week our little Boy turned 4 years old, the Romriells came to visit and we went to Downata twice. We had a fun party at Ross Park for Aiden and Grandma Haislip granted Aiden's wish and made him a dinasaur cake. We went to Downata the next day and the kids loved swimming in the warm water and playing in the sprayers. Aiden joined the Romriells at Todd's family reunion. Thanks to Jill and Todd for entertaining Aiden all week. He had so much fun with the Romriells I think that Aiden needs a week long nap.
On Monday we went to Downata with Ben's family and stayed in a cabin. We swam, played games, barbecued, and even roasted marshmellows over the barbecue! Ben's parents came up in the evening to join the party. Here is a bunch of pictures from the week.

Our house is coming right along! A couple weeks ago it looked like this.

Ben's living area. (the garage).
Looking down the hall and into the bedrooms.
Aiden in the boys room. We asked Aiden if he wants his own room, but he said that Ethen will get too scared.

The roof is on and the windows and doors are in. Last week they plumbed and did the electrical and now they are sheet-rocking.
The entryway.
The boys closet.
The living room. Aiden has gotten good at pointing at the holes in the ceiling and telling us "can light, can light, speaker, big light." Apparently I spend too much time trying to figure out what everything is.
It's very exciting. The hard part of picking everything out is coming, but that means we are getting closer! If it ever stops raining I will take some more pictures.
