Since partying is what the Haislip's do best, Emilee and Aime decided to have the First Annual Luau. They went all out with decorations, costumes, food, and even music! It was a really fun way to kick off the summer. Thanks so much Emilee and Aime, you did a great job!

Ben's graduation

As most of you know Ben graduated and we are so happy! He didn't want to walk in the ceremony so we just had a party for him. I have to admit it was much more enjoyable than wrestling with two kids for 3 hours. This is a picture the kids gave to him. Aiden said that he was wearing daddy's clothes (since this is pretty much all he wore for 2 years straight, between work and school). Ben is going to take his registry test in July and then start working on his MRI in the fall.

Aiden is done with his first year of preschool and his first season of baseball. He had fun going to the zoo and having a picnic at the park with his friends. Next I think we are going to try swimming lessons. He loves to play in the water, I just hope he does as well in the big swimming pool.

Our little peanut is walking! Everybody says he looks too small to walk, but it's fun watching him toddle around. Now playing outside is much more fun.

Life hasn't been too exciting. Aiden hasn't played much baseball lately. it has been rainy and cold. A couple weeks ago we took the boys to the pool in Lava. Aiden loved it! He has become very brave. (maybe a little too brave).

Aiden had a Pirate and Princess party at school and loved it! Then on Saturday mom had the boys so she was so kind to take Aiden to the Teddy Bear Clinic at the hospital. He had a lot fun and calls it the Teddy Party. Mom decided to skip the handwashing station where they wash their hands and then look under a flourescent light. She didn't want Aiden to be even more aware of dirt! Mom said that everybody knew that Aiden was Ben's son before she even said anything. Imagine that.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL

We would just like to wish Jill a Happy Happy Birthday!
Last Saturday was a busy and fun day. The day started with the Easter bunny visiting. Aiden loved finding the eggs and then helping Ethen eat his treats. Ethen loves peeps!

Then Aiden had a t-ball game. He did great. He hit the ball out of the air on his first try and even got the ball when he was in the outfield. He was a little preoccupied while he was on base or in the outfield however. He was either playing with his helmet, trying to stand on one leg, or watching the kids playing on the toys. It is pretty funny to watch they are still learning to drop the bat and then run to the 1st base, not 2nd.

Saturday evening. Grandma and Grandpa Haislip had an Easter egg hunt. Aiden loved it! They were so fun to watch. Thanks grandma and grandpa!

Ben had to work all day Saturday and Sunday, so Sunday afternoon Aiden and I went up to the hospital to dye easter eggs with Ben. Aiden was very particular about coloring his eggs and then he put skickers on them to make his "eggy friends."
