Our house is coming right along! A couple weeks ago it looked like this.

Ben's living area. (the garage).
Looking down the hall and into the bedrooms.
Aiden in the boys room. We asked Aiden if he wants his own room, but he said that Ethen will get too scared.

The roof is on and the windows and doors are in. Last week they plumbed and did the electrical and now they are sheet-rocking.
The entryway.
The boys closet.
The living room. Aiden has gotten good at pointing at the holes in the ceiling and telling us "can light, can light, speaker, big light." Apparently I spend too much time trying to figure out what everything is.
It's very exciting. The hard part of picking everything out is coming, but that means we are getting closer! If it ever stops raining I will take some more pictures.

Fishing with the boys.

We went up to Cherry Springs fishing on Saturday. We only caught one fish but it was fun to get out. Here is one video of Aiden catching a fish and another of how he puts them back. We are a catch and release only family. (Sorry it's so long, I couldn't figure out how to edit it.) Ethen had fun running around, but he wasn't too happy about being stuck in the stroller.

Since partying is what the Haislip's do best, Emilee and Aime decided to have the First Annual Luau. They went all out with decorations, costumes, food, and even music! It was a really fun way to kick off the summer. Thanks so much Emilee and Aime, you did a great job!

Ben's graduation

As most of you know Ben graduated and we are so happy! He didn't want to walk in the ceremony so we just had a party for him. I have to admit it was much more enjoyable than wrestling with two kids for 3 hours. This is a picture the kids gave to him. Aiden said that he was wearing daddy's clothes (since this is pretty much all he wore for 2 years straight, between work and school). Ben is going to take his registry test in July and then start working on his MRI in the fall.

Aiden is done with his first year of preschool and his first season of baseball. He had fun going to the zoo and having a picnic at the park with his friends. Next I think we are going to try swimming lessons. He loves to play in the water, I just hope he does as well in the big swimming pool.

Our little peanut is walking! Everybody says he looks too small to walk, but it's fun watching him toddle around. Now playing outside is much more fun.

Life hasn't been too exciting. Aiden hasn't played much baseball lately. it has been rainy and cold. A couple weeks ago we took the boys to the pool in Lava. Aiden loved it! He has become very brave. (maybe a little too brave).

Aiden had a Pirate and Princess party at school and loved it! Then on Saturday mom had the boys so she was so kind to take Aiden to the Teddy Bear Clinic at the hospital. He had a lot fun and calls it the Teddy Party. Mom decided to skip the handwashing station where they wash their hands and then look under a flourescent light. She didn't want Aiden to be even more aware of dirt! Mom said that everybody knew that Aiden was Ben's son before she even said anything. Imagine that.
